Administrative Assistant
The Bright Group New York is seeking a dedicated individual to provide administrative support to our sales team as well as insuring the office operations run smoothly. The successful candidate must have previous experience in administrative functions as well as an interest in interior design. You will be working closely with both sales staff and the headquarters as a liaison.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Answer and direct telephone calls with a professional manner
Maintenance and distribution of regularly scheduled reports
Maintenance of filing system
Develop an understanding of established product lines and communicate understanding to clients
Support sales staff in order processing, order follow up and customer service issues
Assist clients as needed
Work closely with both sales staff and Headquarters as a liaison

Job Requirements

Three years of experience as an office administrator
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Experience and working knowledge of office equipment, printers, fax etc.
Proficiency in MS Office with emphasis on MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Must possess excellent time management skills, attention to detail and problem solving is of utmost importance
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Understanding and appreciation of high end furniture along with a desire to learn quickly
